- Joe's character was killed by Christopher Bolton (Cake)'s character in the show: The State Within.
- During the summer, Joe plays hockey with Jeremy Wirght (Short Bus) and Carlos Diaz (Looch) every week.
- Along with Jeremy Wright, Joe invented the game "Alternator". The game is played on a ping pong table and each player must hold two rackets. After you hit the ball with your right paddle you must hit the next ball with the left, thus alternating paddles.
